Dr. Helen Underhill is an anthropologist with with a broad skillset in terms of regional and thematic expertise (covering education, migration, home making/dwelling practices and visual expression across the Middle East, Mediterranean and Gulf countries).

Skills: Ethnography; Qualitative, Creative and Arts-based research methods; Digital humanities.

Her ongoing research explores the social and cultural significance of water, seen from the perspective of those who dwell on or near water.
